The Booker Prize for Fiction Complete List of Winning Titles

Wondering who was the winner of the Booker Prize in 2022? in 2021? in 2020? or any year? Here is a handy list of winning Booker Prize book titles since 1969.

What is the Booker Prize

The Booker Prize is an annual British award presented to a Commonwealth author of a recently published full-length novel in recognition for an outstanding contribution to literary fiction. The prestigious award which began in 1969 is currently named the Booker Prize although it was previously known as the Booker Prize for Fiction (1969-2001) and the Man Booker Prize (2002-2019). There is a large cash prize attached to the Booker Prize and the selection process involves first longlisting nominated books and then shortlisting to just six nominees. The final selection is made by a panel of suitably qualified judges.

There is also an International Booker Prize that honours one author from around the world for a body of literary work. The Booker Prize finalists are announced annually sometime toward the end of May and the winner at the end of the year.
