Whitcoulls Top 20 Authors List 2014-2015

When Whitcoulls canvassed New Zealanders to find out what their Top 100 books for 2014-2015 were they also published a list of New Zealand's Top 20 Authors. To find out which authors were selected read on. Jodi Picoult, author of such compelling books as My Sister's Keeper, The Pact and The Storyteller was voted New Zealand's favourite author for 2014-2015. In an interesting twist she narrowly edged out J. K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series. These results may reflect the age of the voters as Jodi Picoult is most popular among women who are by far the largest demographic of book buyers.
